For a guy who has been stuck in some hellacious winter conditions, this is a brilliant idea.
Motor City Wipers which is a company in Detroit has come up with self-slapping windshield wipers.
When snow and ice build up on a card windshield it is virtually impossible for the wipers to make contact with the window so these wipers actually breakdown the snow and ice and from a seal on the window to work properly.
The wipers are self-tappers which mean that the driver is in control via a button on the inside of the car of the tapping portion of the wipers.
Sadly, these wipers are not in production yet. In fact Motor City Wipers are evening having trouble with investors or interest from car companies.
