Red Wine > Exercise?


Are you tired of working but enjoy drinking a glass of wine?

Well the good news is, a glass of wine can mimic a workout....well sort of.

Research conducted by the University of Alberta suggests that a glass of wine a day is just as good as hitting the gym.

Researchers say that natural compound called resveratrol which is found in some fruits, nuts and red wine may enhance exercise training and performance, demonstrates newly published medical research.

Lead researcher, Jason Dyck says that this is great news for those who are physically incapable of working out.

Previous studies on red wine have showed that people who drink a glass of wine a day are less likely to develop dementia or cancer, that it's good for your heart, anti-ageing and can regulate blood sugar.

Other foods that have resvertrol in them include: peanut butter, red grapes, blueberries, and dark chocolate.
