-Starting off, sad news if you're a Cincinnati or Rich Franklin fan.

Ace has come to the realization that he will not be making another title run. With only two fights left on his UFC contract, Franklin has always confirmed that he would finish his contract with the organization and then move on.

He currently has other plans going on including a new juicing store that is opening in Beverly Hills which has kept him busy but has not stopped him from training.

Franklin has gone 4-4 in his last eight fights against some of the hardest hitters in MMA including Anderson Silva (X2), Dan Henderson, Vitor Belfort and the brutal KO at the hands and feet of Cung Le.

Ace gives an update on his next fight,

"Initially, my projections were to have a fight before the end of the year. We will see what difficulties this juice business will bring to derail that time frame. I have 1 fight remaining on my contract. I will not make another title run. I may fight that plus one more, I really don’t know."

Franklin will have lots available to him once his fighting career is over. There will always be a job for him as a liaison within Zuffa, his juicing business sounds promising and of course he has to be enshrined within the UFC Hall of Fame.

-Everyone's favorite reporter Ariel Helwani tweeted that Antonio 'Big Foot' Silva has landed a role in the new Scorpion King movie.

Big Foot follows in the large footsteps of other MMA stars in the same franchise including Randy Couture and Kimbo Slice.

As of right now the Scorpion King: the Lost Throne has nobody attached to it. But it will be straight DVD. If you would like to learn more about the few details regarding the project head to IMDB.

-Speaking of Big Foot, a guy who he destroyed is talking about the loss and learning from it.

Alistair Overeem is set to go up against Travis Browne at the Shogun/Sonnen card on August 17th. Overeem believes his experience will be the reason for his success against Browne.

But Overeem was confident going into the Big Foot fight,

"Silva knocked me out cold is what happened. I think there was a bit of underestimation. Bigfoot Silva is a very dangerous guy. He's got heavy bones. He's heavy. That was a costly price to pay. In the meantime, I've learned all the lessons I could have. I took some off to think over everything that wasn't right. In my time off I've been fixing everything and went back at it again. It's been four months now in camp. I feel good. I feel great and I look forward to fighting again in 12 more days."

-Staying in the UFC heavyweight division, former king of the roost Junior Dos Santos is getting in the mix with Daniel Cormier.

Cormier believes he will be moving to the light heavyweight division so he does not have to fight friend and current champion Cain Velasquez. But JDS has come up with a different scenario,

"He's not dropping to 205 pounds. And you know why? Because I will defeat Cain, and he will want to fight me."

We will know a lot more about the situation when DC fights Roy Nelson in the co-main event and JDS fights Cain for the heavyweight title at UFC 166 on Oct. 19, 2013, in Houston, Texas.

-It's not easy being king.

Featherweight champion Jose Aldo knows all about that. After he defeated the Korean Zombie this past weekend at UFC 163, news came out that he broke his foot on the first kick he threw. But according to his doctor in Brazil he is currently going through kidney stone problems as well,

"I learned about this problem with Andre (Pederneiras, Aldo's coach). He had renal calculus (kidney stones) before. He needs to send me the results of the exams so I can check it. Andre told me it's not serious, and he probably already expelled the stones."

Currently Aldo is planning on taking the rest of the year off to heal up.

-We have some potentially exciting news for you Bantamweight fans.

Current interim champion Renan Barao was talking to MMAFighting and believes that champion Dominik Cruz will be his next dance partner early in 2014,

"we only exchanged a few words because my English isn’t that good. He told me he’s returning (to fighting) on February. I was really happy to hear that. I hope he can return so we can finally fight."

The division champion has been out of action for nearly two years with several ACL injuries.

-Finally, in the middleweight division,

Michael Bisping is running his mouth. Surprise. Surprise. The Count is set to stare into the eyes of the Filipino Wrecking Machine in two months, but that didn't stop him from trashing his opponent already,

"he's a great wrestler, but I think he's one-dimensional. Anybody who refers to themselves as having a Donkey Kong style, I refuse to lose to. I'm far too skilled for him. He’s going to try to take me to the ground and use these stupid punches. He's very powerful, and I'm not underestimating him. He's a very accomplished wrestler. Listen, I'm going to punch him in the face repeatedly, and eventually he's going to fall down. On October 26, I’m going to kick his ass, and no one's even going to think about him anymore. If they thought he was depressed before, on October 27, the day after the fight, he’s going to be really more depressed then."

Lets hope we do not have to hear from Bisping for the next two months.
