It was a huge night for Bellator MMA.

Where to begin...where to begin?

Oh yeah, this:

After wide speculation that Bellator's first PPV would have Rampage boxing Roy Jones Jr, the whole world was shaken up with the news. Quinton Jackson won't be boxing an old fighter he will be fighting an old fighter.

Tito Ortiz confirmed that their friendship won't get in the way,

"I've fought the best of the best in the world -- I've been fighting for a long, long time. Rampage, too. We've trained with each other, been friends for a long time, but it's time to put the friendship aside. It's about giving the fans what they want, and the best fight possible is going to happen here in Bellator."

Rampage gave a tongue and cheek answer about the missed opportunity to box RJJ,

"I'm training hard, I'm motivated. I found my love for MMA again now that I'm with a reputable company that knows how to treat its fighters. It's on! Don't believe everything you read on the Internet -- I don't know how that rumor ever got so big, but, you know, I'm down to fight Roy -- I'm a big fan of his. He's one of the best boxers ... he's the man. I've seen him knockout guys without even using his hands! This time, I'm going to give the fans what they want, my first fight in Bellator I want it to be an MMA fight ... not a boxing match."

The two will go toe-to-toe November 2nd, 2013 inside the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, Calif.

The next show for Bellator is September 7th, 2013.

-Bellator 97 was supposed to be the big news last night.

Last night's fight card was filled with two championship finals and the return of King Mo.

-This Saturday is UFC 163 here are the updated betting odds:
UFC 163 Odds For Main Card:

Jose Aldo (-800) vs. Chan Sung Jung (+550)
Lyoto Machida (-360) vs. Phil Davis (+300)
Thales Leites (-125) vs. Tom Watson (+105)
Cezar Ferreira (-425) vs. Thiago Santos (+340)
John Lineker (-420) vs. Jose Maria Tome (+335)

-First Lyoto Machida and now light heavyweight champion Jon Jones.

Jones has Glover Teixeira in his cross hairs,

"I've got a lot to prove still. I'm not looking past the challenge here, but Glover Teixeira is a guy I've got my sights set on."

Jones has been all over the map. Talking about moving up to the heavyweight division and now mentioning Glover. But before either of these tasks can be checked off, he has to get passed Alex Gustafsson at UFC 165 on Sept. 21, 2013.

-Jones' training partner Georges St. Pierre announced some big super fight news.

GSP announced that he will announce big news in the future,

"There are things I wanna do in my career and I can't tell you right now -- Rory (MacDonald) as well -- and we have plans. You'll see in time. It's better if I keep it secret then when it comes, it's gonna blow up. We'll see. I'm very interested. 'Super fight' doesn't mean I have to go ... it's 15 pounds between categories. It's a lot of options. We'll see."

No word if the news is that he is ready to fight Anderson Silva, if he is wiling to fight Rory MacDonald or is it inconceivable that he moves down to 155lbs? The answer to the latter is more interesting than you'd think. GSP says cutting to 155lbs is easier than making 185 lbs.

Forget any super fight talk until after GSP takes on Johny Hendricks at the Big Rigg UFC 167 taking place on Nov. 16, 2013 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

-Finally Dana White spoke with Ariel Helwani and discussed the follow:

What's next for top 170-pound contender Rory MacDonald after a less than impressive victory this past weekend at UFC on Fox 8 (he thinks Robbie Lawler, which is no real surprise).

UFC on Fox 8 ratings, which were down about 40 percent from the previous show and beat out by a U.S. international soccer match (he's still "pumped" with the rating).

Vitor Belfort, who he admitted is officially on nerves for turning down a fight with Tim Kennedy and trying to book a match on his own against Chael Sonnen at UFC 168 (Lorenzo Fertitta is dealing with him).

He alludes to some drama with the "Hollywood" attorney of Ronda Rousey, who apparently pulled some funny business on the eve of her appearance on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 18 (her reaction to seeing Miesha Tate in the video trailer had more to do with "Rowdy" thinking she had been replaced).

White has a "whole team" of lawyers looking into the Neo Nazi allegations that are tailing recent free agent acquisition Benjamin Brinsa (he will be released immediately if they are accurate).

He is not thinking about bring back the apologetic Paul Daley (not today, anyway).
