The greatest goalie to ever play hockey is no longer active.

Martin Brodeur announced earlier Thursday that he would be hanging up the blocker and glove for a suit and tie.

Brodeur who had 691 wins and 125 shutouts will now be heading to the St. Louis Blues office as a special adviser to GM Doug Armstrong.

The winningest goalie of all time spent 21 years with the New Jersey Devils before signing a deal in St. Louis this past winter.

His final victory was a 16-save shutout against the Colorado Avalanche on Dec. 29.
