Driverless Cars

First it was electric cars and now the plan is driverless cars.

This according to a press release from Nissan. They said that they are on track to release the new Autonomous Drive by 2020 and even begin testing them by next year.

The driverless car program is not a functioning partnership with Google who have planned a similar idea.

There is no set time frame of how long these cars have been in the process but it has been "years" in the making. The company has been working with some of the top schools in the world including MIT, Stanford, Oxford, Carnegie Mellon and the University of Tokyo.
